Large doses of vitamin E apparently can reduce harmful side effects of heart bypass surgery in heart patients. A study involving 28 bypass patients found that the 14 patients who took vitamin E for two weeks before their operations had significantly better heart function after the procedure than the 14 patients who took placebos.
The vitamins apparently prevent damage to the heart muscle by destroying the toxic chemicals, called free radicals, that form when blood is cut off during the surgery, said Dr. Terrance Yau of the University of Toronto.

I think my angelfish ATE my crab?!?
I HAD a crab in my tank, one angelfish and three little tetras, and over the past week, each day I went to feed them I noticed the crab had one less leg. I had no idea what was going on (I’d never had a crab before). Yesterday he was down to just 1- today he has disappeared. My water level is 3-4 inches from the top of the tank and it has a cover, and there are no plants that poke through the surface: so where did he go? There’s no way he escaped, especially being the handicap he was.
Do you think my angelfish ate it, one bite at a time? Are they known to be aggressive? I think I’m going to rename it Hannibal.

Angelfish are chiclids…. chiclids are well known for their agression.

Anyway…
Seeing as how they are a larger fish, There is no doubt that that is exactly what happened. Either that or the crab lost a fight with the filter after being attacked by your angel fish.

Possibly, but most crabs sold in fresh water are actually brackish or part terrestrial and can’t live long term in a normal tank.
If it got sick the angel would certainly pick at it. Small tetras are at risk too as the angel gets bigger.

angels are semi aggressive, crabs are aggressive, you would be surprised how crabs get out, but if he was eatin, it was becuz the angel sensed that something was wrong with the crab, injured or sick fish/crabs send of a signal, and then they get picked on, especially when the lights are out

Lol…why don’t you just take it to the UPS store? Check craigs lists for people who repair consoles, that will void your warranty with Microsoft though so you can never get it fixed by them after.

Michael agrees. Before beginning he turns in all of his personal effects. And when the job is done, his memory is erased and he learns he made over 90 million dollars over the three years. When he goes to claim it and his personal effects, he discovers that prior to the erasure of his memory he waived his rights to the money he earned and that the items that were given to him were not the ones he gave when he began. Later he is arrested by the FBI who say that he committed some act of treason and murder. It’s while he is in custody that he escapes using some the items that he was given. He later meets with a friend who gives him some information that helps him understand what is going on. ow long will the "processing" take for my paycheck to show up in my bank account??? helppp!!!?
I just deposited my paycheck into my bank account this morning around 11 (not direct deposit). The paycheck is for a different bank than the bank I’m part of- the payroll company uses citizens and I’m part of sovereign. It hasn’t shown up in my bank account yet and I’m really hoping it’ll be there by tomorrow because I need the money! does anyone know how long that will take????
It is a little hard to tell exactly what you mean there but i work for Citizens and typically check deposits under $5,000 are available next business day (In our world Saturday counts as a business day) Even though your check may be available that does not mean it has cleared through the paying back so be sure to keep an eye on your account and call your bank if you have any questions, this will help you avoid NSF fees.
PS~ if you can set up direct deposit but I’m sure you already know that.
PPS~ if you find a really nice customer service rep they may be able to verify funds on the check which the paying bank and release the hold on your account

Usually a bank will let you have access to some of the funds right away. You would have to call your bank and verify what their hold time is on deposits. Every bank is different. Some are 24 hours, some are 3 to 14 days!

i’m a very busy working executive and i’ve started to date that girl over 1.5 year now and she is from australia and works there. i work in London UK.
We have for a while now (over 1 year ) a long distance relationship and we see each other maybe 2 to 3 times per year and each time last for around 1 month.
She is very into me as i can see and with all my stress and work it’s cool to have someone to have fund and of course sexy times !!!
Her situation is that she is in australia and has to work there (as she has businesses there running …)
she wants to come over europe and work around so we can be closer but by doing this i can totally see that she is quitting everything she has in her country + businesses for that.
i’m a very practical guy and i can see in case of broken up situation that she will blame it that she sacrificed her career for coming around me. and as a career guy and hard worker , i would not want her to sacrifice her life !!!
so besides all that fun/sexy/ cool times when we see each other :: do you guys think that i should tell her to focus on her life and we keep the long distance ? or brake up with her and become friends if possible ?
