Girlfriend is Distant?
I am in a relationship now and it’s really doing great. We see each other pretty often and I have no doubt that she has feelings for me and I get enough proof of that when I am with her.
However, when we’re not together, I find her to be pretty distant with me. She doesn’t text me or call me as much as she used to,I usually find myself calling her or texting her.She used to have cute names for me but she doesn’t hardly calls me them…..
She hardly pays attention to me when she is with her friends yet she does call me when she is among them.I’m also falling in love with her but these questions are clouding my feelings.
I feel like I’m doing a lot of efforts to be close and that she doesn’t really do the same for me, and yet she often says she missed me and expresses her feelings about me (the recent instance is that is she is really happy with me and I’m the only one she wants in her life.Is it my fault that I want to be closer and see her more, do more stuff together? Am I wrong to feel the way I do?

So, with number 55 I will say that I do have a real complaint, but it is one that is easily forgotten with the way it is laid out in the song and with the strenght of what I consider to be the true heart of the song. I always get a little concerned when I delve into 80s pop, but I think this is just a great tune. A little over the top with the piano rock out at the end (I could really live without the bulk of it, but whatever at least it’s at the end). I’m prepared for it to leave some people underwhelmed, but I’ve always really loved this song.

That’s funny, I remember that. Wasn’t a huge fan of that rendition, but it’s really just because I’m not into the hook. I actually like the use of the sample with his rapping over it.

Cool, I love this song! Although I do prefer Changes which is the 2Pac song that Jimmy posted a link to above. One of my all time favourite hip hop songs as a matter of fact.
I kinda agree with you about the piano part at the end, it just feels sort of unnecessary and out of place. Still a great song though.
As for my favourite 80s contemporary tune, the first one I thought of was "Englishman In New York" by Sting. Even though I’m not a big fan of Sting, I’ve always liked this song a lot since I heard it at an early age.

Bonneville Salt Flats…Ruins?
Hope all is well! I’m planning a trip to Utah in the future and have the Salt Flats on my to-do list. I’m trying to find the actual location of this "structure", but they appear to be ruins of like an abandoned fort or home of some kind.
I’m assuming they’re in the Salt Flats. They were actually in Alanis’s "You Oughta Know" video towards the end where her entire band is playing in these "ruins". Is anyone familiar with this or know its name or know where it is? Is it still standing?! Just kidding!
I thought it would be a cool thing to check out and wondered if anyone else has visited these ruins.

I know that the rest stop on I80 at the Utah/Nevada border is on the edge of the flats. I couldn’t find anything on ruins though.
