question about innapropriate taxi driver coming onto my husband?
heres my story, my partner went out with his brother, my sister in law n a mate, n came home that night n told me the taxi driver gave everyone her number n offered cheap taxis for cash. so that she didnt have to pay tax on the fare. i didnt really agree with this but i let it slide. i didnt go cos i have a baby to look after n metal clubs are not really my thing.anyway the next time they went out they called her n got the cab n she was real chatty to them they said, the next time again they called her to go home n dropped everyone else of then my partner last n he said that i quote "the old woman was flirting with me" shes in her 40s n we are in our late 20s so thats pretty nasty ey. anyway the next day we are at his mothers n he recieves a text message n shows me cos hit was making him very uncomfortable, the woman had kept the number n texted a dirty message to him that said " you wanna come round after my shift for some fun". we let it slide cos we assumed it was meant for someone else. id spoken to her the last time id been in the cab n said i had to go to sydney for 2 weeks so she thought i was there but my holiday was cut short. then a week later when i was out the woman called our home number(she had it from when i called from home to book one for them weeks before) she was inviting my husband round to her birthday. at this point we still thought the dirty message was for someone else so he replied ok, ill just ask the misses, n she said no thats ok ills e you another time n hung up.we really didnt feel comfortable with that, hes a happily married man n has never been denied sex from me ever. 2 weeks later my partner brought the phone to me again n said he just got another from her saying hi how are you, we didnt reply n another half an hour went by n she sent to him again, "you wanna come round for some fun, im waiting for you,i think you can do better (refering to me) so come around n DO me better. hmm.ive wanted you since you got in my cab that night". we wrote back, no thanks please dont send messages to me like that or at all. she replied have your fat ugly girlfriend then (wife)
my question is do you think this is bad enough that i should ring the taxi company n make a complaint about her.

Well it’s her word against yours. Expect a lot of lies and stuff if you file a complaint with the taxi company. You’ll be in a better position if you still have the texts she sent you.
On the other hand, if you want this woman to leave you alone, just tell her to back off and if she doesn’t you will file that complaint and tell her you still have all of her messages. I mean ‘punishing’ her will only increase her anger towards your husband, because she obviously feels rejected.
Up to you. What do you gain by complaining?
Edited to add: I agree with the others that your generalisation of people in their 40’s isn’t very flattering. This is not about age, but about a certain individual. Would you mention it if she were Jewish for example? Maybe you should watch your words next time, your additional information doesn’t make it ANY better, on the contrary.

Since it is classified as Sexual Harassment, and you have the proof, do make an Official complaint to her company.
If the company does not do anything, look out for your local Ombudsman.

Yes you should. That should have been done when she called your house and you realized the first text wasn’t a mistake. If she contacts you again, file phone harassment charges.
Call her employer and tell them what she has been doing and tell her about the shirking cab rides she’s giving out also.

so the thing is that i have been pretty much sheltered my whole entire teenage life, like all i ever have done was sit in the house and go everywhere with my parents like seriously they never let me out anywhere! but now im seventeen years old, about to graduate high school and go to college and i cant wait to finally get out and party like i want to and im having like these crazy wild thoughts like " how am i gonna act when i finally get out and party" " what kind of things will i do"but is like i dont even care because im so ready to finally get out of this house and idk whats gotte into mw because im starting to drink more and get more sexually involved. I have always been i good kid and i have always waited for the moments to finally get to do things thinking my parents would finally come through and let me but they still havent and now its too late and i cant wait to start college this fall and get my years worth of fun in!!!!!

Ok, so I grew up a lot like you. I did go a little crazy in college, because I wanted to see what I’d been missing out on. It was fun. Go have a little fun, but just don’t go completely crazy. I saw some people do that, and they will be paying for it for the rest of their lives. You have the rest of your life now to do whatever you want. Pace yourself.

i literally feel like my heart skips a beat when i see him.?
i’ve had crushes on people but never like this. i’ve liked this guy since 4th grade and then, i only "liked" him, but now i feel like im in love with him. im 13 now so yeah ur gonna tell me im not in love and i know that but i just really like him a lot. everytime i see him, even when i expect to my heart feels like it skips a beat, and even when i see his name, like on facebook when i first found out he got one it said that my one friend chris is now friends with miike (the guy i like) my heart literally skipped a beat WHEN I SAW HIS NAME. am i crazy? i know im crazy for him. theres a few issues with this though….he’s 3 years older than me, but i know him pretty well. when i was in fourth grade he was in seventh and we did a summer play together and we have every year since. he sings and acts just like me so i feel like were so perfect but his sister is a year older than me and she is one of my really good friends. is that bad??? recently i’ve really thought about him a lot and idk if it could ever work out because of the age difference and my friend. could he like me?
i mean during the summer he kinda flirts with me and jokes with me like one time he was telling me i looked like a turtle and was like thanks mike. and one time someone was trying to adjust my microphone and i was like "dont touch my mike!" and he was standing right there so this chris guy was like ooooh (hes also 3 years older)…and i probably blushed….urgh…but anyway….
another time, i went christmas caroling at his house and he was ther and i couldn’t help but look at him….and i think he was looking at me…so when i waved goodbye i waved at him…and he gave me a thumbs up
